Markdown View supports .md, .markdown, and plain text files (.txt, .log, .csv, .json, .yaml, .xml, .html, .css, .js, .swift, .py and many more). It can also open gzip-compressed text files.
Open a document, then tap "Raw Markdown" in the toolbar to see the original source. Tap "Preview" to switch back to the rendered view.
No. Markdown View works entirely offline. No internet connection is needed at any point.
All imported documents are stored locally on your device. They never leave your device unless you explicitly share them.
Yes! Markdown View is designed for both iPhone and iPad with a responsive layout that takes advantage of the larger screen.
